How to book your wedding safa
From the first message to returning the safas after the wedding, here is what to expect, and what to have ready at each step.
Five steps
Send your date and requirement
WhatsApp or call with the date, ceremonies and what you need, with an approximate count.
Visit the store to choose
Call ahead and visit us in Gotri. See colours in hand and hold them against your sherwani.
Confirm your booking
We agree styles, quantities and charges, along with any deposit and the return date.
The wedding day
Pick up from the store, or follow the plan agreed for your venue and reporting time.
Return after the event
Gather everything in one place after the function and return it on the agreed date.
A suggested timeline
- As soon as the date is fixed
Send your date and a photo of the sherwani. Popular muhurat dates are shared by many families.
- A few weeks before
Visit the store with your sherwani or dupatta to finalise the safa, kalgi and accessories.
- The week of the wedding
Confirm the pick-up time and the final count of family safas.
- The wedding day
Be ready before the varghodo. Put one friend in charge of the talwar and dupatta.
- After the celebration
Return rented items on the date agreed at booking.
What to bring when you visit
- The sherwani or dupatta, or clear daylight photos of them
- A photo of the bride’s outfit, if available
- Your list of family members and friends who need safas
- Theme colours from the wedding card or décor
Ask before you confirm
- The total charge for everything you are booking
- Whether a deposit is needed, and how it is returned
- The pick-up time and the return date
- What happens if a safa is damaged or lost
- Whether tying at your home or venue can be arranged for your date
We are happy to answer all of these up front.

When is the booking confirmed?
Once you agree the styles, quantities, charges and return date with us and confirm. Nothing is assumed before that.
Can I change colours after booking?
Tell us as early as possible and we will let you know what can be changed for your date.
Keep planning
Tell us your wedding date
We will reply with the styles available for your date and a clear quote, before you commit to anything.
